ARTIST NOTES: As the afternoon sun shines through the kitchen window, the freshly cut flowers glow, they have the sweetest scent from the warmth of the sun radiating through the glass. They are beautiful.
This original was inspired by the beautiful energy of the rose, my Aunt, and its feminine scent - taking me back to my childhood years when I first learned of the smell of the sweetest roses in my Aunt's garden.
As the afternoon sun's heat radiates through my kitchen window I often think of her and the smell of roses throughout her house and backyard.
